Shooting began yesterday at Northern Pacific Coffee Company in beautiful Parkland, Washington. The scene introduces a new character and features a cameo appearance from the first “The Gamers” featurette. Cast and crew were excited to be there and that portion of the day’s shooting finished precisely on time.

Following a company move to the Dead Gentlemen office complex in downtown Tacoma, a few additional scenes were shot involving the character of Lodge (Nathan Rice). Surprisingly, these scenes finished four hours ahead of schedule, which meant quite a bit more sleep for many of the crew members.

While these scenes were shooting, set decorator Matt DeMille went to work on preparing the first of two game room sets. A gamer himself, Matt was able to bring a fantastic sense of design and gamer authenticity to the set. Shooting there began this morning and is expected to continue all day.

Today’s major scene, number 16, is exciting because it is the first scene in the film in which the entire gaming group gets together and begins their quest for the Mask of Death.
