Revamping Doyle is shooting the opening sequence at the Tacoma Elks Club Monday, October 15. Crew call is 5pm, Cast and Extras is 6pm. We need as many extras as possible, so bring friends. The primary committment is just the one night, from 6 pm until 11pm, though we will likely release extras before then. Some extras will be needed again the following two Mondays.

EXTRAS: IMPORTANT:

Your clothing must be appropriate for the setting or we can’t use you. The restaurant is a very nice, elegant restaurant of the sort you take your date out to and where they give you a jacket if you’re not wearing one (if you’re a man, that is.) Business suits and nice dresses are appropriate. Jeans, t-shirts, and even dress shirts without a jacket are not. Evening gowns or tux’s are overdoing it.

No one should wear black or red as a primary color in their attire. Either can be accents, but no combination of black and/or red should make up the majority of any part of your outfit. With the exception of those extras cast as vampires, everyone needs to stay away from such outfits. If you absolutely do not own anything appropriate to wear which is not black, or red on black, then dress in all black with an accent (no more) of red. We need everyone who possibly can dress in non-blacks & red to do so. If you
don’t own or can’t borrow anything still that would be appropriate, we can still use you as a ‘chef’ in the kitchen, so come anyway.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ELKS CLUB

The Elks club is on the corner of Union and south 23rd street.

PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. While we understand many of you have jobs which will prevent you from arriving at the requested times, anyone who can make it earlier needs to, so that we’re not dealing with costuming, makeup, rehearsing, setting, etc. of everyone at once, and we can work with people as they arrive. The earlier the better. We are limited in our time and must make the most of it.

From I-5
Take the HWY 16 interchange. HWY 16 is just South of the downtown Tacoma exits, and just North of 38th Av (the Tacoma Mall exit) It only goes “West” from the 5. The first exit on HWY 16 is right at the interchange, Sprague. You will take the very next exit, UNION. Hang a right at Union, go past the Target parking lot to the first stoplight. This is 23rd street. Hang a right onto 23rd, and take an immediate left into the Tacoma Elks Lodge parking lot. The parking lot is a bit confusing, but park wherever and head for the main entrance through a walkway with several fountains. Upon entering the lobby, head directly forward and you will see the restaurant just beyond the sign-in station. Do not sign-in, as this is for Elks Lodge Members, just walk in to the restaurant. If you are uncertain, ask the front counter where the movie is being filmed.
